I received a letter on Saturday.  That was my first one.  I didn't recive any phone calls yet.

Do you have a male or female recruit?

nope...not a word.

My daughter is there Ship 12 Div 147.

Hi,

I keep reading about calls and letters and I have not received either.  I hope everything is OK.

@awilliams - everything is fine... if it wasn't you would have gotten a call.

My son got to call me to get information for his security clearance and mentioned that they had not been given time to write letters just yet. That was on  4/2 Monday morning.  He sounded good but was all business :)

Hang in there!!!!!!!

I have not received a letter or a call either.  My daughter is in the same ship and div as Whitsmom

No call or letter yet...son's in ship 12 div 150. No news is good news, they say, but it sure is hard waiting to connect with him.

I got a call from my daughter this past week but we missed it.  It was great to hear her voice even if it was on the answering machine.  She said she probably won't be able to call for another 3 weeks or so.  I did receive 2 long letters from her.  She shared what goes on during her days/nights at Great Lakes.  She sounded very busy, but upbeat and positive.  :)
