I'm on it too!!! Good Morning Everyone!!! :D
Go Go Stacy ....... Hope everyone has an amazing week !!
I'm with you ladies. Just printed off my parking pass...can't wait to fly out next Thursday.
I borrowed this from the 900 division's site. I thought it would be very useful!!
Hi all,
Printed our parking pass today, woo hoo!! Does anyone know if there is a possibility that extra people will be able to get in to PIR? My son told me in a letter that they were not going to be able to add family members to a friend's list (if they didn't have four people on it). Is it a "wait and see" kind of deal?
It's almost here ladies, so excited for all of us!
Mamaroo,
Not to worry. There is plenty of room for added family members. Our PIR had 10 divisions graduating and there were plenty of places available to sit. One end of the hall had no one sitting in it. The other end only held the 900 division that was observing. We had lots of wiggle room in the stands opposite the divisions.
The additional guests have to stand to the side at the check in line until all the listed guests are in. So, I would recommend those folks coming around 8:30 instead of early. Otherwise, all they do is stand and watch everyone else go through the check in.
Yup Bobs mom .. when My Dau PIR'd last year there was 11 Div ... and no one was turned away.... plenty of room ... and open seats left !
Hello.... all of you are probably like I am right now; sitting on pins and needles waiting for that call after battle stations telling us that they are now sailors. These next nine days can't go fast enough. It is funny, I miss my son, but now I am experiencing such great excitement, I can hardly concentrate. I know that this is just the first leg of a his journey, but I don't think I could be more proud. He is the first in my family to volunteer to serve his country. I am looking forward to tomorrow which is usually letter day. Hooyah. GOOOOO Navy. :-)
I know tomorrow is letter day for many of you... Please keep us posted if you hear anything about BattleStations (in a private msg of course)!
Counting down the days!!! HOOYAH!!
