Hey there! Just a place for family of SRs in Ship 09 (USS John F Kennedy) Division 146 to get together and chat, ask questions, and discuss whatever. :)  I'm new to this, so anyone who has a heads up on anything regarding the ribbons (LaLa Ribbon Queen I believe is who we need to contact) and stuff like Sarge's Meet-and-greet, feel free to enlighten the rest of us!

Curious about WHERE exactly at RTC your recruits barracks are? Check out this diagram of the RTC.

Thanks for posting the picture.  I see my son big as day!!  You gotta love Facebook!!

It`s time to print those PIR PARKING PASS!!! I just printed mine and it feels GREAT....

Thanks for reminding me:)

Is anyone bringing teenage siblings along that are also attending Sarges Meet and Greet on Thursday night?

My daughter is coming, she is 15. We are hard to miss, she is tall with red hair.  (Spitting image of her brother in boot camp, by the way.)  Maybe we should wear name tags with our user names and our real first names on them!  That way we can recognize each other, lol!

I'm thinking you have a great thought there. We are bringing our 15 and 17 year old daughters with us.

I will probably be wearing my black "Proud U.S Navy Mom" tshirt. (unless my girls talk me out of it). lol

I'll grab some stick-on name tags so we can write on them. Your daughters can hang out with mine, who probably also doesn't want me to wear something too corny!

Bringing along my preschooler. lol, any others bringing young ones?

I am bringing my 7 year old, our 2 year old is staying at the hotel with my mom, way to early to get him up and he wouldnt sit still that long! : )

Just don't forget to type the password in all CAPS! :)

Thank you for that advice. I could see myself wigging out saying "my pass word won't work!!: Lol.

Can you say excited, I have already started packing... I can`t wait for that "I am a Sailor" phone call. I received a letter today my son is ready for BS. I have started the positive thoughts that this division will work good together!  It`s TEAM work we need...My son who graduated from Great Lakes in 2008 will be able to see his little brother graduate... My SR will be shocked that he will be able to come.
