OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I sent you the info for ordering ribbons :-) Thanks
This is the first that I have heard about ribbons.  how much are they?  PIR 10/7/11  how do we pay u?
The Page, PIR Ribbons, will gie you more info on thm.
you can get some info and see a couple of picks on the page near the middle of the screen on your PIR group page. You can click on my name and send me a friend request and I will send you all the info and the prices so you can place an order if you want to. Thanks
So how if we are lucky enough to find out about when our group will do battle stations?

Do you know when your BS is?

I don't wish I did, and did any one get mail from 338 this week?
I did, but it was from the first week of boot. I found this really really strange. I got 4 letters today all dated the week he got there. He did share some new names of people he had met, but that's because I hadn't read those letters yet...
Ok well we should be hearing about BS but they do BS in week 7 so we've got some time.
is BS always week 7 or would it be week 6 cause there in the push program
Those in a Push Division will have BS-21 the week of PIR.  There will be at least 2 Divisions that will have BS-21 the Thursday night/Friday morning the week before--this is so that anyone in the previous TG who had failed a test and then passed can do it before PIR.
I recieved a letter from ship09 div 338. It was dated 9/11. It was a short half page, but it was better than nothing. Always good to hear from them. He says things are getting better.
