Hello Newhope!  My husband is in this ship/division as well!  He left Aug 22nd and we also thought they would graduate the 21st but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the form letter.  Did you get a letter from your SR yet?  I can't wait to get one.  I haven't gotten one this week so I assume they weren't allowed to write on Sunday yet, but I thought I'd see if anyone on here got one.

So happy to hear someone else is in this division. I thought my son was in the troop alone. I only got the form letter along with a small note on the back. I have yet to receive a standard letter. I was lucky enough to speak to him yesterday. He is going into intelligence and needed information for his background check. We spoke for about 10 minutes. He said he was really liking it and doing well. He is 19 and did break down crying halfway through because he is home sick. Very proud of these men.
My husband and I are both 20, and I could tell that he is homesick as well, we have a 2 month old daughter.  You are so lucky to have gotten a call.  Hopefully next week we'll get the first real call.  Or just a standard letter.  If I get one I'll be sure to give you any info he gives me about the division.  He's in the Nuke program, but was deciding between that and intelligence originally. I'm so proud as well, and so happy to have found this forum to lean on a bit.  6 weeks from today and counting...Thanks for replying!
Still no one else in this group??  How are you doing NewHope?  No word from my SR yet, I'm still hoping for a letter/call this week.  Have you heard anything about the guys?  It's funny it's just the two of us right now, the other groups seem to have so many people!
Hi. Yes it is strange that it is only us. No I have not heard from my SR yet. I was hoping for a letter today but :(
I am hoping because of the holiday mail is off one day. So I will stalk the mailman tomorrow. Miss my son so much. I can only imagine how hard it is on you with a little one. You are a brave soul just like your SR.
I'm thinking by now they should have gotten to write on Sunday so it's got to be today, for my own sanity!  haha. And thanks, it has been such a wake up call realizing how much I take for granted when he's around.  Luckily she's a really calm baby but I just keep remembering how much of a huge help he was.  Can't believe graduation is 36 days away!
YAY for only 36 more days but boo no letter today. Well there is always tomorrow. Just keeping my telephone close by in case of a call
Hi Navywife - My SR is in 3/347 - also left on 8/23 with PIR 10/14. I guess they must be in a push division too. I enjoyed your post - we have not heard anything yet from 347 so I am hoping our letters will be here soon!

Hello kjkooz.  Glad you enjoyed this, I just thought people might like some more info :-)  Can't wait to hear more from other people.  I hope you get a letter soon.  Today was the one day I wasn't expecting one and then I got 4, so maybe that's the trick!

Hi all! So far I've received 1 letter from my husband and that was on Monday. I can't wait to get another letter! He wrote the letter the day before labor day and said they should be able to call home in a week and a half, which should be about NOW! I really hope they do get a phone call home and that no one in the division loses the privilege for the whole group. Has anyone gotten more than 1 letter so far?
Hi there!  Your husband is in this division??  We've been wondering if we would get any more people on here!  I got a few letters on Monday written around the 4th and 5th and I just got another yesterday that had a bunch of letters in it written around the 10th and 11th.  I read on another forum another woman said her son told her that their call should be Wed of Thurs this week and so that is right now!!  I'm keeping my phone by me all day.  Since I got a letter yesterday you might get one today or tomorrow depending on where you live.  So nice to talk to someone else with a husband there :-)  Where will you guys go after basic?
Just got my call!
