**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

Ill be staying at the navy lodge

We're staying at the Navy Lodge, as well. Nice and close, and a great rate.  You would book it under your SR's name.

Can't wait for PIR!

i thought the navy lodge was for NAVY personnel only . also my inlaws are coming too. at the residence inn we will have aliving area with seprate bed and bath it is 3 miles from base.
I am staying at SpringHill Suites in Waukegan.  It is an Awesome hotel.  I stayed there over the 4th of July weekend.  I have heard that the Residence Inn is nice!
i hope the residence inn is nice.

We are staying at the Courtyard in Waukegan.

diane - Other than PIR, the Navy Lodge IS only for Navy personnel and their families.  For BC graduations, you can book under your recruit's name and stay there, even though it's without him.  It sounded like a nice place, and it's close.  Great rate, too!  Just can't wait to get out there and see my SR!  (Sailor!)

Sheila, do you know if its the closest hotel to the graduation? i wanna be as close as possible. maybe it might not be too late to change hotels. Cause i just wanna be super close.
NalaHooYah - I believe it's 5 miles from the base.  It has views of Lake Michigan from some of the back rooms, I heard, which means it must be close!  Got a great letter from my SR yesterday - he sounded so excited and proud of div 350!
too late now i better stay where im at . thanks for the info though.
11/351 are calling
