it's official, got the form letter with 21 Oct PIR and Ship 11 Div 349 :) any others out there in same Div?
I am sorry but I have had to remove some of your posts. Last names are not allowed on this site. You may friend each other and private message them though. This site is an open public forum and anyone may read the posts. Even in a group with private settings...all they have to do is join the site and then the group. (The administrators and advisors watch carefully for "spammers")
Please read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines below (This is alos in your pages section on the main page under hte members pictures...plus lots more BC info for you.)
Safety for your SR (future Sailor) and you!
LAST names are NOT allowed anywhere on this site.
FIRST names ARE allowed but we will most often advise you not to use them. This is a public forum and anyone can read the posts-they do not have to be a member (if the group is set to private, the public cannot read but all N4M members can-so all you have to do is join) While they use their last names in BC (in fact they don't usually, if ever, find out each other’s first names until the end of BC), the RDC's know who they are and can then, with the right amount of info, link them up to you. So, let’s say you use your last name in your N4M name, post a picture of your SR...easy to match up...and so on.
Why does that matter? Your SR's are trying to get through BC with as little undue attention as possible. "Fly under the radar", so to speak. One SR reported his picture plastered on a wall of the classroom one day...another had to do 5 pushups for every time his mom posted.
The MOST important reason for being discreet is OPSEC-Operational Security. This is a way of life for us now. It will be for your Sailors career. Some even more so depending on their individual security clearance. Some moms have mentioned that even today after years they do not know EXACTLY what their sailor does.
SPECOPS...definitely needs to be VERY careful.

Please take the time to review this information.
They need to be your friend. I see you already know how to do that.
1. Go to their page and under their profile pic click "send a message". Your inbox will open up and you can go from there.
2. Click your "inbox" located to the top right under your username. Same as above.
To change any info to your profile (picture, username etc.) Go to "settings" (same place as "inbox" to the right top) and your profile page should open up. Make your changes and click "save" at the bottom.
No problem...I know my post seems "strict". I'm only serious when I have to be! I actually have I-Love-Lucy tendencies and would love to be Jim Carrey for a day!
if it is same division, it will be a 10.21 grad date. Woo hoo...let's stay in touch as our son's go on this journey together! where are you from?
