JustforMe NJ- awe thanks !!!!

28 DAYS!!

Hey everyone.  How are you all doing?  Did you make PIR plans?  What is everyone doing for Liberty and where are you staying?  I decided to stay at SpringHill Suites in Waukegan.  I have stayed there before and is really nice.  I am sure my son will want to go to the Gurnee Mills Mall.  he wants to go on his own plan and get a smartphone before leaving to FL.  And he said he wants to go out to a good dinner.  Can't wait.  Tomorrow is letter day!!

Any exciting news from your SR?  Sounds like this division is doing pretty good.

I'm staying at The Residence Inn in Waukegan. My SR wrote a tear jerker letter to his younger sister. He said when he got her letter he started tearing up and had to wait to read it in bed so the others didnt see him. Those two have fought horribly for so long and now realize how much they miss and love each other.

vonvon- I heard that hotel is nice!

awe that is so sweet.  How old is his younger sister?  My SR and his younger sister are 6 years apart and they too fought terribly and picked on each other.  You should hear their nicknames for each other.  Oh boy!    He admits how much he misses his "lil sis".

I hope it's nice for the cost.  Actually I wrote it wrong- my SR is 18 and my only son- he has 3 older sisters- the one I was refering to is 20, the other two are 21 and 29. He had a rough time with the girls. It's something to see the change in our boys and it's only been a month. I wonder if your kids will still use the nicknames? :)
We are staying at the Residence Inn also. I stayed there 4 heats ago when I attended a Navy graduation. It's in a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a Super Walmart practically across the street and plenty of places to eat and shop.

Awesome!  I have a 2 bed suite with full kithchen was hoping there was somewhere close to shop at. I am getting so anxious for the day to come, I know everyone else is too!

We got a two bedroom suite the last time also. There was even a gas fire place in the living room. I remember shopping at an outlet mall about 40 minutes away in Wisconsin.
Just a heads up on ribbon orders. If you have already ordered ribbons to wear to PIR for this PIR group and have made your payment your ribbons were shipped this morning so be watching the mail for those. Stalking the mail man is advised lol. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. I know you will wear them proudly to PIR :-) Have a wonderful weekend everyone. If you have any questions send me a message or friend request. Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your group and allowing me to make the ribbons for you and your families.   Lora
My son earned a call last night and I missed it :(  As much as I have been stuck to the phone I can't believe that happened! I did get a letter and thought I'd share a funny part. "Thank you for the pictures mom, but please be careful what you send.Everytime I ask my RDC a question he asks me how are my sisters..lol  I still have guys coming to me asking to see my pictures. I have to keep my drawer locked at all times."   He has 3 sisters 20,21,29- they were fully dressed , I guess the guys found them attractive.

That IS funny!!!  ... Well, we know they are "healthy" young men!!

My son has not been very forthcoming with information.  Does any one from division 349 know what they've been doing??  I guess I expected that by now he'd be excited about some of the training eg: firefighting, weapons, ... According to his letter the only thing they've done is "learn how to tie a ship to the pier".  I'm sure they done more than that ... he has a tendency to exaggerate sometimes.

My son is in Div 349- he said in his letter, this week is Hell Week where there are going thru alot of testing- he wasn't specific though. He said about 20 guys have dropped out so far and alot of them were getting sick.
