Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

mine is sick too,he has sinus infection and pink eye but othr than that he is fine. so far 2 letters. take to you later

I have received 2 letters they are vague with information. But we did get a phone call. My SR seems to be home sick but doing ok.

Still no phone call. Letters still coming though. We are over half way done!!
yeah he still sick ..coughing alot ..its serious..but hes taking medication..but not well yet,what if he doesnt get better ..will they sent him back  home..?...i hope he gets better soon...i know it will take time ..god bless him n our sr ..feel better guys!!!
my son is still siick ..i hope he gets better soon i didnt book my flight or motel,,if he doesnt get better will be set back 1 wk..so idk to book or wait ..as soon i get a letter this wk i will

if you book it, all hotels said i have up to the day before booking date

to cancel and credit card wnot be charged until you show up. we are driving so idk about flight. sounds like everyone is sick..a bunch of boys who dont wash hands!!!!!!

Welcome! Have you had phone calls or letters? We think ours missed the 3 week phone call. :(
i had a phone call that was 10 min. and a letter last monday that said he got 25 miutes on tuesday and thursday to write. i m waiting on next call, if pms reads this im from OH.
Hi anxious. Yes I've gotten a 30 minute call, and as of last week he is able to write 3 days a week. I'm very grateful for that. The phone call was last Monday it Tuesday. Is anyone of you from WI by any chance?
I was just curious Di. He had fainted and his bunk mate is from WI, he caught him. I wanted to thank him, or his mom.
