Yippeee!!!!  I've created this group.  I'm so proud of myself.  And I'm SOOOOOOOO happy that I got my son's address today.  It's day 4 since he left for BC and his recruiter called me with it this morning.  I can't wait to "meet" all of you!

He told you he's leaving on Friday?  UGH.  I really hope that changes!

My son graduated from Navy Boot camp 2 years ago. I'm racking my brain trying to remember all the details. I think we picked him up shortly after the ceremony. We went to anearby mall, went to dinner and a movie. He had to be back early like 8 or 9pm. Then the next day he went with his Dad and Step Mom. I think they went to the beach close by at the lake. He could of went with us on Sunday but we booked our flight back early as we had little ones at home. Some recruits had to leave right away which was horrible for their family.

Bring a good camera with zoom.

invisible - I'm just planning on leaving late Friday, in case he has a change. I remember one mom saying they had to be at the airport at 3 am, but her recruit didn't leave until 4:00 pm, they sat in the USO and talked until he left!
HI everyone, here is an update on the ribbons ;-) For everyone who ordered ribbons to wear to PIR they have all been shipped even the ones that were ordered last night and this morning. You should have them within 2 to 3 days. PIR will be here sooner than you think and I know you are all EXCITED about that :-) If anyone missed out on ordering ribbons and would like to get them please contact me ASAP. I have a very quick turn-around and ship Priority mail so there is still plenty of time to get them to wear to PIR. Just send me a friend request on this site or an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com    Thanks everyone for making my ribbons a part of your very special event.
No one has a BattleStations date yet for this division?  If you have one, please private message it to me. Thanks!  Trying to complete the schedule.
