Yippeee!!!!  I've created this group.  I'm so proud of myself.  And I'm SOOOOOOOO happy that I got my son's address today.  It's day 4 since he left for BC and his recruiter called me with it this morning.  I can't wait to "meet" all of you!

Hi shadowcrzn...that's great that you got the box and the letter.  I'm still waiting for the letter.  What's your son's rate?  Mine is IT.
His rate is IS.

My son will be IT also.  Leaving for Pensacola FL after BC.

Hi drleeper...I guess our boys will be together, as they are now.  Have you gotten any letters yet?  I got my first one today.
no I didn't receive any letters yet but I have received 2 phone calls looking for security clearance information.  So I took advantage of a couple minutes we could talk.  Looking forward to the Meet and Greet.  I did post something today that you should read. I posted it at approx 7 p.m. tonight.

Awesome NavymomJanet!!!!!!  You're sooo lucky.  I received the box but not the form letter.  Thankfully I got my son's address from his recruiter so I've been sending letters. My luck, when I get the form letter, the address will be different.  UGH.  What day did your daughter get to BC?

So far its my son and your daughter and graceism's daughter.....I hope they're not showering and sleeping together!!! LOL.

lol...let's pray she doesn't get laundry detail....ha ha ha

My son left on Sept 15, got the box on the 19th, and the letter the 26th. He is also an IT...seems to be a lot of them! So is everyone who has an IT, is their child going to Pensacola? Wondering about them leaving on the 11th or 12th of Nov to go to Pensacola. Any thoughts? Great to meet everyone :)

Hi danagagirl - Yes, I do believe that all IT rates will go to Pensacola.  It's great to know that our sons are together.  Unfortunately, the response I got from RTC about when they will be leaving wasn't what I wanted to hear.  They said they'll be leaving for Pensacola on Friday the 11th unless there are issues or problems with ticket availability or their orders.  So let's just pray that there are "issues and problems" and then we'll get them for an extra day.  Are you from NJ by any chance?

I am from Jacksonville, FL...so I can't wait to be able to go visit him at A school in Pensacola ..esp since it is 14 weeks! I spoke with my other son and his A schools are in Ft. Lee VA and Groton CT....can just hop in the car to go see him :(

Is everyone staying at the Ramada Inn? We stayed there when my first son graduated and I know N4M does a meet and greet, will it be Wed night since graduation is Thurs. Really wish they had the extra day, maybe their will be 'little issues"

I'm not sure where I'm staying yet.  The Meet n Greet is on Wednesday and there's a link at the top of the group page where you can click to RSVP.  I'm pretty sure I'll be there whether or not I stay at the Ramada.

That's so great that you'll  be that close for A School.  I'm jealous!!! LOL.. I'm from NY.
