The recruiter gave me the wrong ship number, so sorry about that other post.  I just got the form letter, and it says ship 2.

Performance division!  I was thrilled to hear that my son is in this division.  He plays percussion, and hopefully doing something he enjoys will be good for him.

Anyone else here with a kid in this division?  Do you know what he/she will be doing at PIR?

Thanks for sharing hoping a letter will arrive shortly!

Got a letter today!  His sense of humor is intact, and his handwriting is very tidy.  (Never was before!)

Anyone else?  My letter was very short, with no information about the division.

I'm still waiting.
We got our letter today and the form letter, which he loved he said other members whiched thier mothers had sent them one.  I found it on this website not sure where.  He sounded upbeat and good.  I was just excited to recieve the letter.
I got a call from my son today! It was better than Christmas! I loved hearing his voice! He is doing so well! I am so pumped right nwo! Hope you all got your calls, too!
I got a call this evening! We were able to talk for quite a while. Everything is going well with my SR. He is the weapons Petty Officer. He said they had their first written test (not clear on what) and he only missesd 3 out of 50 questions. The division did well too so they won a Flag!!! Yay...way to go Ship 2 Div 952!!! So nice to get good news.
I got my first letter & phone call in the same day! It felt like Christmas, New Years Eve & the Saints winning the Superbowl! My daughter sounds so good! No regrets & she seems to be thriving! She was super excited about her division & their accomplishments!! (awarded with a flag) She also passed her baseline PFA! Btw... She's NEVER picked up an iron in her 20 years, & now she irons her underwear! I love it! Thank you,Thank you,Thank you!!!

Hello, my son is in the same ship/division. He is the section leader for the drumline and yeoman of the division, we're so proud and cannot wait to see them perform.  We spoke with him on Friday, he is writing a 3 minute cadence.  We are flying into Midway the evening before PIR and I think it will be too late for us to get to attend a meet n greet. I hear you about this being foreign, I don't even have a facebook.

We are flying into Midway too about that same time.  What part of Florida?

I got a letter yesterday.  He still thinks the RDCs are "super bada$$" and he's doing okay.  He said that (at that time, on Sunday) 5 SRs had been ASMO'd (sent back in training?) and another guy was in the crosshairs.  He was really proud that they won a flag on their first test.
My son is also in the same ship/division and will be playing percussion. Looking forward to seeing them perform at PIR.
I got two letters today. The first one was long and excellent The second one was short and also excellent. I am very happy to learn that he still LOVES the RDCs. New quotes about them: "My RDCs kick supreme ass." and "My badass, superninja, jedi RDCs..." He said that the division is doing great. This week is "hell week", and he said don't be surprised if there aren't many letters. They're looking forward to it, though. He said it should be fun stuff.
