Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 043 and 044
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My SR is in Div 043 and we live in Ann Arbor, MI about 6 hours away. Momof4, we are staying at the Marriott as well. Our last call was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and he sounded so good. Now, we have to decide if to make the trip at Christmas so he won't spend it alone. :( I'm also curious to know if anyone has a SR in Div 043 who is getting married in July 2014?
Can't wait to meet you! Also received call Wed. and he sounded so good!!! I think our boys Div 043 is doing good overall, which makes me a very happy Mom! Our son, Connor, has his birthday this month, and Christmas, but we live too far to come before PIR. I'm so excited for that weekend! Our SR will have A school at Great Lakes as well, so we have the whole weekend with him! Again, so nice to meet you here!
So glad to meet you here too! Anxiously waiting to hear from our SR! Hope all is well with him. We got a letter after Thanksgiving but have not heard from since. We probably will not see him till PIR as well. It will be a fantastic weekend though!
Hello Moms - my son was/is new to division 043. He was ASMO'd from his earlier class/division for medical reasons -- he caught some pretty bad bugs (flue/strep/bacterial infection in his neck) and was hospitalized for 6 days.... he came back from all that and will be graduating this week with division 043. He's thrilled and so am I to be able to see him this weekend. I know he was able to make some friends in this new division - though he had a shorter time with them. I thank all of your sons for making him feel welcome in his new division.
