~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Hi everyone.  I haven't received the form letter yet, but my hubby talked to the recruiter.  So very excited that I can't stand it!!  My son is Ship 02, Division 907!!!  He is a percussionist, so we were hoping for 900!!!  YAY!!!  He went in 11/6, so I'm guesstimating the 1/3 graduation.  Looking forward to getting to know my fellow moms!

Hi Ladies, I'm not sure if any of you know this but you can "like" Recruit Training Command on Facebook.  They ask trivia questions every Tuesday and if you get the answer right verbatim, they'll post a picture of your SR's division.

What this PIR group has going for it is....the two PIR groups before yours have been on the small size....7 divisions and 8 divisions (we have had as many as 15 divisions in a group before).  So....that doesn't guarantee anything, but hopefully the small group trend will continue and you will be 12 divisions or less...giving you 4 guests per SR at PIR.   Lately, there have not been too many 13 division PIR groups...most of the groups have been 12 or under so they were allowed 4 guests.  We can only hope!

Good Morning All !

Unfortunately the RTC hasn't been real fast on confirming divisions, however we can once again "guess" the number of divisions in a TG from the posts by all of you.

As long as all the divisions can be accounted for with a PIR date, we can make a fair assumption on the number of guests allowed for a TG. Perhaps in the next week or so we will have a pretty good idea, and who knows...maybe the RTC will surprise us all. :)

D's mom, We can read between the lines. LOL

There was about a week of no new recruits here recently from what it looked like, and yes they skipped two weeks of PIR. I wouldn't be surprised if this TG has all the recruits that have arrived in the last 10 days or so (maybe even through this Friday). Just my guess though. :)

The RTC will also not be receiving recruits for a couple of weeks in December during stand down, which could have an impact on the up coming TG sizes. The TGs for the next few weeks could have many divisions, the average number of divisions or fewer divisions, and that is also just a guess.

Rolling laughter

we only have 3 as well ;)

When will they confirm the number? Not for everyone else but for my daughters sake on someone she is always trying to see the good in doesn't have the chance to not show up. I personally wouldn't mind it only bring 3.
