Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 045 and 046.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Sean's stpmon, my son is in you SR. division.  Have you heard from them. We got a letter but no call. I've been waiting to hear from him. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. And it is so true to about traditions. The 21st my oldest graduated from bootcamp and he brought some guys and their family over for dinner. That was absolutely one of the best Thanksgivings ever. Wish my youngest was there..  well again enjoy your Thanksgiving.

My SR is in Ship 14 DIV 045. Looking forward to meeting others in the same division or in division 46! :)

It's the same for me.  My son sent his girlfriend the first letter, which I completely expected because his daddy would've sent me the first letter if it were us!  She was great though and called us to tell us that he is tired due to only getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night and that they are being yelled at 24/7, but he is okay.  It was good to hear from him even if through someone else's letter.  He only got to write one letter because they had to clean on Sunday.  Hopefully we will hear from him this week.  I too, am looking forward to meeting all the moms and wives and girlfriends at the meet and greet.

When did she get the letter?? I have yet to hear from my boyfriend and he is in the same division. :/

michelleco628 -

She got it yesterday.  The Thanksgiving holiday may be holding yours up.  You will hopefully get one today.

Anyone get a letter yet? Ive seen other divisions in this PIR receive letters today and yesterday but no one from div 45 or 46

Hey Alleyoop, I recieved a letter Wed. Hope you get one soon.

Hi my SR is in division 046 and I have yet to receive anything from him. I hope the mail man brings something tomorrow! I am staying optimistic.

Goodmornin all, I know its early but I can't sleep. We spent the weekend in Great Lakes for my oldest sons graduation. And the thought of being that close to my youngest son was so hard. A couple times we thought we saw him but it wasn't him. When in uniform they all begin to look just alike. We had been waiting sooo long for a letter and as soon as we got home, THERE WAS A LETTER. Was I happy. I can't wait to hear his voice. But 3 weeks down and 5 to go.  I will be able to give him a Big Ole Kiss !!! :)  Take Care All Hoorah Hoorah Hoorahhhh!!!!!

Feeling so good today!!! I finally got a letter from my beloved. Apparently someone said a very rude thing to a higher in charge and so they had to do intensive training. The food is good. He really seems to love his uniform. He said that he lives meal to meal which makes the day go by quicker. AHHHHHH I am so happy. I was yelling and screaming around my whole house!!

YAY!!! I am sooo happy for you! Maybe they will write again tomorrow! :)

Hello! :) My boyfriend is also in ship 14 div 046, I received his first letters on the Nov 28 and the 29th! I also received his first call on the 30th? He got his uniform and he also said the food was good lol. I was happy but crying too!
