Amber, the tolls you'll encounter have a person to take cash.  A very helpful hint is that the cash lane is on the right so don't get stuck in the left!  We've made that drive a LOT cause husbands main company office is just north of Chicago and we're in MI.

Good Morning!

Amber,

Just as an example, my Sailor daughter uses a toll road to get to a doctor in Virginia.  There is no toll booth to pay there and she doesn't want to get an EZPass.  The regular toll is either .75 cents or $1.00 depending on the time of day.  When she gets the invoice, she is charged a $1.50 processing fee for each time she is on the toll road in addition to the toll fee itself.  So it really adds up eventually. I know you can buy an EZPass for about $25, but not sure about other specifics.  They have a website that you can check out.

Thanks so very much, maryjo!  So appreciate you letting us know!

Amber:  They have toll-by-plate in most of those areas, which are a little higher because they add administrative fee----pik of your tag, mailed invoice for the tolls.  I remember Sarge saying a while back to check their website when in GL and try to pay them online then and it will save you money.  Kind of generalizing a bit here....you may want to message Sarge and ask him about this.

diannep...I agree the meet and greet should be posted here!  That's why I mentioned that it was on fb so those of you who are our veteran members would know and could post it.  I much prefer this site...fb gets a little crazy!  But it seems not many people post on this site.
