DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yay!
FINALLY!! Got the call at about 4:30. He said as far as he knows everyone passed. He was so tired! He was headed to a pizza party and then bed. Tomorrow is the day!!
Have fun at the Meet and Greet!
Safe travels around Great Lakes and for those still traveling to PIR.
Last I'm a Sailor calls today....from 057-060! Congrats to them.!
Enjoy the MeetandGreet tonight, be EARLY to PIR tomorrow for a good selection of seats.....for those driving, stay to the left on Buckley (main drag to RTC). Car line will be on your right. Bypass RTC and turn around at/near train station right past there. Head back from opposite direction.....easy left turn onto RTC! Remember, gates open at 6:30! Don't forget your ID and gate pass (if driving on base). There is also parking at the train station (I believe it is paid though), about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk to RTC gate.....in case anyone doesn't want to park on base for any reason. Some who plan to hop the train into Chicago after PIR like having the car parked there and don't mind the walk!
Good Morning!
Congrats to the new sailors of 053-056!
Congratulations to all the New Sailors!
CONGRATULATIONS to all the new Sailors and their families!! Safe travels to all to an awesome PIR!!
Remember, PIR is just the beginning of the Navy journey. Keep plugged into Navy for Moms where there are groups for A school, C school, ratings (jobs), bases, ships, states, regional, twins and multiples, and the Christian Chat that I am a part of!
Also, the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook puts up photos from each PIR. If you see your Sailor in a pic or more, you can download it to your own computer by either clicking on the picture, going down to Options and downloading it OR right click, "Save Picture As" to a file on your computer~~
