For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 057 and 058.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

My boyfriend is Ship 11, Division 058 ... so happy to find this group!! I have not talked to him since he left, he called me last week but I was at work so I missed his calls, He left me messages with his address so I wrote him. I have not received anything back yet though. I am anxiously waiting and cannot wait any longer!! How often do they get their mail?? Im dying for a letter.

I keep checking in but am not seeing much chatter here. My son is working and studying to do his best, so I haven't heard much from him. He did call Christmas Eve, thank heavens! Has anyone heard from their loved ones as to what they are doing now. Are the PIR dates the same? Do they know when Battlestations will be? The holidays has put a real damper on the mail, sure wish email was possible! :( Any information would sure be appreciated.

We have received letters from our son. PIR is still the same as far as we know and I believe he wrote his girlfriend that he will get to call home on the 7th (I think). I assume battle stations will be just before that. We're looking forward to seeing him and hope the weather is good for our trip up there.

Thank you TNGoldie....We received one yesterday, not much information on the letter. He assures us that they are working hard so graduation will proceed as scheduled. My son is not the writing type :( so we are left in the dark compared to his brother who went through boot 3 years ago. We are traveling from Maryland, looks like the weather is supposed to be calm. :) I didn't know about a call on the 7th, so that is something to look forward to. Thank you for responding to my post. Ladies.....i hope that you have had a wonderful day like we have had today! Alex called and we were able to talk for about 40 min, then he called his brother. He said that his Div 058 was doing exceptionally well, they were given 3 hours to eat pizza, or whatever they wanted, and time to make calls. It was so nice to be able to talk without being rushed. Hope everyone was able to talk to their SR....see you all soon.

my husband is in div 057 and i got to talk to him for about an hour that day too :) Now i am just anxiously awaiting his "I am a sailor" call.
