~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I found the answer unfortunatly. Can I at least bring my daughter on the base? I can wait for my family outside I seen they had a recreation center that was being used to hold extra people during graduation. They say you cant even try to get with another family to see if you can add to them. I thought about that one too.
Ryans mom - I think more than 3 calls is considered lucky. Especially since some don't even get that. But I know how you're feeling. I couldn't help but watch my phone all week/weekend hoping my hubby would call. But....no news is good news, right? :)
flutterfly - they also no longer have the standby list. It's 4 guests and only 4 guests allowed now. We had to cut from our list too. On the positive side - at least we get 4 vs 3 guests like some of the PIR groups.
Lala, it is actually 2 yrs or younger....3 and older have to be on the list. Here is the RTC upcoming grad page that they changed the guest requirements on. Went into effect starting with the January PIR groups:

Sorry, ladies. The rule of 12 and under not having to be on the list ends with 2012.
I had seen it on a forum here. I had looked it up on yahoo and it brought me back to the moms site. I can check my paper work at the house as well, I thought we had read on the paper work it wasn't going to be a problem. That site said if there was room they would let people in who were not on the paper work. As long as I had Id for her. I will make some calls in the next few days.
once again hoping for another phone call from my son, i know his div was having some trouble wkg as team and in inspections... could this be why they haven't been allowed to call again? anyone else receive phone call since last week? I"m i expecting too much to have a phone call a week? is it possible? hopefully i will get a letter soon,,, any one else gotton a letter?
They haven't changed it on this page of the site Lala
I'm sorry flutterfly, they changed that rule and the only extras they allow in have to be 3 yrs old or younger. I hate that rule change. I would have thought it would be changed on their site. What forum did you see it on?
Hey Isabella mom.. I know.. just that there were already 4. I checked the website and it said 12 and under can come without being on the list.. I will double check that. But then.. The poor girl turns 13 the day before..what luck. We may have it figured out though. I will check the forum again.
