Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 067 and 068.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Well thanks so much for setting all these forums up!  Near as I can figure, it looks like our boys get to do a serious workout today, running and whatnot. Wonder if they will be doing anything to mark Pearl Harbor rememberance?

Whatever did moms do before the internet was here to keep us informed? Probably work, housework and other useful things, lol!

Good morning DrewsMom... where are you finding the guys daily routines?

isn't the internet wonderful for curious moms.  I don't know how exact it is to what our boys are doing, but it's more than I knew before.

Hi Mary,

I looked at the thread that you posted. What day are the SR's on today?

from what I've been reading, the best guess I have is 1-5. Saturdays don't count. My son arrived on a Monday late in the day, so I don't know if that day was counted as p-1 or not. I'm assuming it was.

Has anyone from ship 13 division 67 gotten a phone call!?

No I have not. My letter said that they get one really soon though.

I think they should be on week 1 training day 5. But I could be wrong.  what do you think DrewsMomMary?

Got the first real letters today!!!! I havn't got to read them yet, my husband called me at work to tell me.  I can hardley wait to get out of heare so I can go read them.  I hope you all get one today!!!!

I don't quite understand how this all works~ confusing!! I got my first letter from my son..

They get to right letters almost always on Sunday.  Keep sending your SR letters it will keep them going.  Hopefully the kids that arrived later in the first 2 weeks will get to make a call next week.  My son arrived on Nov. 26th and was in the last group to get in this DIV.  They are on the fast track meaning they have to learn more in a shorter amount of time.  When I was in bootcamp 20 years ago we did not ger our first phone call until week 5.  But when they get mail it is the best part of the day.  If i didn't get mail 1 day it would realy crush the spirit.

My oldest son just finished (Army) Boootcamp on Nov.29th And I didn't get my first phone call for 5 weeks! Lots of letters.. I try to write 3 letters a week!!
