OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Good Morning everyone, And Happy New Year. I cannot believe how quickly this year has passed. The older I get the faster they go and I just wish they would slow down a little :-)
I bet it was pretty much the same as other Sundays but I bet they got a really good Christmas dinner :-)
We live near Atlanta and yesterday I noticed that morning temperatures were the same for Atlanta and Chicago. I had to chuckle because temps here reached the mid 50's and I KNOW it stayed cold in Great Lakes! So thankful they aren't outside for everything! And - no letters for us this week either. Has anyone heard what they did Christmas Day? I assume it was simply a typical Sunday for them.
No mail for me, but I wasn't really expecting there to be any since he asked for envelopes in his letter last week. With the mail being off idk when he will get them. I mailed them last Thursday so I figure he got them Tuesday or Wednesday. So I'm not expecting a letter until next week.
@future...Glad you arrived safe and sound! I got another letter today and it was awesome! Hope everyone's mailbox is offering up good letters. FYI, mail is one day off, so tomorrow for some :)
Finally home! Well I got back about 2 but then my daughter had physical therapy at 3 then I realized there was nothing thawed out for dinner so we had to go get a few groceries haha. BUSY day. Now I have to get all this stuff unpacked. Hopefully it will all be done by Jan 17 so I can pack it all back up again to hit the road on the 18th. So excited to see my man soon!
HAAA~ Lala! Such a cute story!
Kids do say the darnedest things lol. When my Sailor was in 2nd grade a boy in her class kept picking on her and pulling her ponytail. She didn't like it and didn't like him. I told her on the way home from school one day that he was a boy and that is how they show girls that they like them. Well she said ooooo gross, I laughed and said oh he likes you and he's cute and I will never ever forget her response. She said "Well I do not like him and he is about as ugly as a dead willow tree" omg I laughed so hard I had to pull the car off the road because I couldn't see to keep driving. She has always been very verbal and able to get her point across lol.
