Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This Group is for those of us who have a Sailor Recruit's Pass in Review January 20, 2012. Please feel free to connect with one another as we will hopefully all be sitting the same room watching not only our own Sailor but all of our Sailors finish their RTC journey and continue on with the rest of their Navy journey. OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I have had a couple people in the last few days who have sent emails to me to order ribbons for PIR that I have not received. Sometimes emails on this site get lost for some reason. So, if you sent me an email and I didn't respond that means I didn't get it. At the end of every one of my letters to my son I sign it as P.S. I love you, well nobody knows this accept for my son and I. As I was opening Christmas gifts today my daughter bought me a movie and as I look at it, it's the movie P.S. I love you....she had no idea I sign my letters this way. I know that was God giving me a touch of my son at that very moment. Of course I cried like a baby, thanked her and explained how special that was. I just thought it was sweet and wanted to share it with all you great ladies!:) Hope you all are having a good day and we will all make it through it...hang in there!!!!:)
