For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This Group is for those of us who have a Sailor Recruit's Pass in Review January 20, 2012. Please feel free to connect with one another as we will hopefully all be sitting the same room watching not only our own Sailor but all of our Sailors finish their RTC journey and continue on with the rest of their Navy journey. OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Hi everyone, I hope you had a good day. Mine was very long. I sent a whole bunch of the PIR ribbons this afternoon. So if you have already placed your order and sent your payment your ribbons are probably on their way. Here is a pic so you can see how they look but this pic only has the ones who have the first name on them. This pic has 3 or 4 PIR groups represented. I'll be ready and even if someone else in out PIR wins or if we do, I will continue to play so all of us can be rewarded! Come on PIR 1/20/12 let's be ready. I saw both Div 043 and 044 got calls, so it's looking good for a call this week. As long as our boys are being good!
