Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This Group is for those of us who have a Sailor Recruit's Pass in Review January 20, 2012. Please feel free to connect with one another as we will hopefully all be sitting the same room watching not only our own Sailor but all of our Sailors finish their RTC journey and continue on with the rest of their Navy journey. OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by Navy Mom x3 on December 12, 2011 at 6:15pm: Div 043 is making calls! I just got off the phone and he sounded awesome! I was shocked when my office phone rang and it said "Payphone". I screamed for someone to call my husband (who works here too, just next door) and he ran right over to talk on speaker.

Comment by Almyraia (Ship09/Div 45) on December 12, 2011 at 5:17pm: I really hope they get a call...my boyfriend's been gone for exactly one month tomorrow, and itn all that tyme, I've gotten just 6 pages of letter (which I'm greatful for every second of the day; amazing, how a simple piece of paper can keep you going for one more week). So, it'd be amazing to hear his voice, if only for five minutes, just to tell him "I love you." That's all I want. But, hey, if something happens that they don't get the call...well, I've made it this far, and PIR's only 38 (we're in the 30's! =DD) days away. ♥

So if you keep playing even after you win, you can request another DIV. There are 5 in this training group. and 6 Tuesday left so lets dominate and get photos of alllll the divisions!
