Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 073 and 074

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yes, he is Div 73.

Hello USMC

My SR is in 073 and said that his Division was a chatty bunch and that they had received a IT card which stands for intense training. My SR also said that the RDC were very fair. I have not spoken to him but he did call his girlfriend on 12/21 and was able to talk for about 40 mins she told me. I did receive another letter this pass Thursday and he sounded good . I am hoping for a call soon and another letter. Good thing is there is only 24 days left until we all get to see our new Sailors. I am counting down the days.

USMC, my SR shared with me that there were some rowdy people in the group and that they had a lot of IT because of it, and they had been really working on getting everyone to take things more seriously. However, in his last letter he said that the group was pulling together and finally working together as a team and he had confidence that they would all make it as a whole. So it sounded positive and encouraging to me. :-)
This is good to hear!!! I'm just sick for all the issues this division is having. Thankyou for sharing :0)

I received letters from my SR (DIV 73) he said the division did great overall at hell week and even earned a Bravo Zulu (pennant for excellence)! He sounded good, and is counting down the days until BC is over. We are almost there!!

Hi... I too received letters from my SR DIV 73 and he sounded very postive and said that their division was doing great. I am so excited for next week that I can't stand it. I have been thinking about him a lot in these last weeks. Maybe because I know that they have a lot going on getting ready for BS. I know that they all will do great!

Thank you to each of you who took time to post to this group and the main PIR group. My son isn't very informative in his letters. Most of my information throughout this process has come from the recruits' loved ones and the wonderful moderators of this group!

ProudTxMom I have learned a lot from this group too and the facebook groups. My son is not very informative either.
