Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 069 and 070

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello All!

I'm so glad I found this site!

My son is in division 070 and we just booked our flight for PIR! We are so excited!

He briefly mentioned "hell week"... does anyone know if it's this week or the beginning of next week.? he is very vague in his letters!

also, i just read about ribbons (what a great idea!)....do the different colors stand for different career paths or is it just a preference?

I believe it is just a preference as to which one you want to get, I ordered the proud navy mom and I believe it was red but cant remember cause so much is going through my head right now, also ordered a challenge coin for my SR

High my son  is in div 069. He is my only son and I am very proud he is doing this for himself. I get scared for him and myself as well but also know that this is a growing experience for all involved. Have our room booked at the navy lodge.

Hello this is my first tome here.  I am just finding these sites.  My son is in Div 070, any other Mom's out there?  We haven't received a call since Dec 23rd.  Will they not receive any more calls?  We are counting down the days.  I also have seen mentioned something about a meet and greet does anyone know anything about that?

I just saw an email where one of the moms was talking about a shirt and a coin she ordered. Where can I do this
I have a son in 070... got a lot of letters this past Friday.. but no calls since 23 as well. But I'm not worried I know he has a lot on his plate right now.. I just write and count down days till PIR. .
Last time my boyfriend called was on December 23, 2013 as well. I received some letters yesterday and he states that they will not be making phone calls for another 2 weeks. They will be focusing on inspections, exams, and battlestations. Just an fyi! :)
Hi there!!! My son is in DIV 070 and We haven't received any call since Dec 23rd. But finally we are getting to the end of this. Does anyone know when Battle Station is going to be?? I have my blue cable on all the time for all of them!!!!!!
Good morning! It's been a while and getting excited that we are getting close to the big day for our sailors. I have not heard from my son and I hope he is doing well as he was ill last week.
