Has anyone recently heard from their recruit? Last time we got a letter was well over a week ago and no call since Xmas Day. From experience, I know they are so busy and tired it's hard to find time to write, but this is the first time we've come across these long stretches of hearing nothing. Just curious if it's our son or others are experiencing the same...
21 Days till Graduation- So excited!!! Keeping fingers crossed that the weather won't be bad when we all fly in and drive to location.
Cheers! Lisa

We got a call last Sunday and she said she had written a letter, but still no letter. Before that, we had gotten a call on Christmas. We have to alternate calls between her father and me and her fiance, so I don't expect one next Sunday. She's been pretty good about writing small notes to those who have written her. She definitely doesn't have alot of free time, seems like just that one call on Sundays. I know New Years Day was just a normal day for them, so I'm sure you'll get a call this Sunday...
MilitaryMomof3,
You can post this type of question on the Main Comment Wall of this PIR group and everyone who has feedback can respond to you there~~ This PIR group should be in their intense training now, so all you will get will be their weekly letters. Those that are doing well, might get a reward call according to the whims of their RDCs~~
Thanks everyone!
Sure appreciate all the feedback. With having kids in the Army I thought I knew what to expect but quickly learning different branches of the military do quite a bit of things differently.
My apologies for my ignorance- how do I post on the Main Comment Wall for this PIR group? I actually thought that's what I did. LOL YIKES.
This is weird. The PIR 01/30/2015 group is the only one you are a member of, but you posted through Add a Discussion in the Discussion Forum instead of scrolling down further till you got to the Comment Wall empty box. That's where you post to the Main Wall. Here's the link to the page again. Scroll down till you get to the Comment box, which is below the Discussions:
