Dana, my son ordered it and a lot of extra pictures (shadow box etc...) to be sent home as well. I asked about it in the BC group a week or so ago and was told it would be 3-4 months before we got anything. One mom had just gotten some things and her sailor graduated before Thanksgiving.
Has anyone received the graduation DVD. My sailor bought it and had it shipped to my address but we have not received it yet.
Movin' on too. Continued blessings on your Navy journey!
Leaving this group now.....blessings to your new sailors!
Renee,
Glad you got around and home safely!!! I've have never driven while it is actually snowing or a blizzard and was happy that didn't happen while I was out and about in Great Lakes!!
Oh, when we got there Wed there was snow on the ground but the roads were totally clear. They do a good job keeping things cleared.
If you've never driven in blizzard conditions, don't! LOL seriously though, the weather was fine until Saturday night when the storm started coming through. From the reports I've heard it was the fith largest storm recorded for the area and Sunday was the snowiest day on record for Chicago. So while others may have to drive in some snow for upcoming PIRs it shouldn't be anywhere near as bad. We drove over to MI Sunday and the roads were crazy from the hotel to our destination. What should have been a 4 hr drive took us just over 8 hrs.
Lol! Really?? Glad you are back home safe, Mrsjeni!
Gals,
Especially for the ones from places that don't have snow regularly, how was it driving around with snow banks and all? Were you okay and was it fine to navigate in a different climate? Thanks for your input!
