Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 077 and 078

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

my daughter is ship 11 and div 77. Got her box, got navy letter and got the special surprise call from her. However not personal letter for us yet, although she stated she was able to write on Sunday's. Mail is slow I say, her Dad is desperate to hear from her. We did find out her friend who is in the navy has received two letters as he has written her one for each day she has been there. I know she is doing well in my heart though, Hoping to hear of more moms from same ship and div as the time gets closer. Daughter will be staying at GL when she is done with BC. Wishing you all the best.

Ugghhh no Christmas call or letters, I am hanging in there. I like you know in my heart that he is doing good and I need to keep my spirits up for when I do hear from him.

Anything new today for you?

no but i ran into a young lady Seaman in her work gear at the mall his afternoon and she gave me hope and faith that all is going good, No news is good news, her BF a fellow Seaman said that they give them one day bed rest after Wisdom teeth (must be why I had a restless night last week) and that they do make them write home on Sundays. I know in my heart all is well, and that these two were sent to keep me moving forward. I have this week off work and I have made 12 dozen cookies!!!! Taking some to the recruiters tomorrow. Until 31/01/2014

My daughter is in the same ship and division I have had 3 calls and a letter so far every one a blessing we have to hang in there happy Sunday:)

I did get a letter from my SR. doing well but it is hard, been a while since school. Need to freshen up on the study again. This SR will be ok. Asked for prayers it was hard to hear our voices, knows how much missing home. It will be ok. NAVY STRONG! Like in HS they tell SR your too quite, statement that has never been liked by this young SR. This too shall pass. SR given a lead roll and that will build this young SR. All good...Happy parents in NJ. Although the SR wrote on Sunday it was mailed out on Monday and I got it today.

My sons in Div. 078 and I got my first letter Friday 20th, and my second call on Sat 21st, call was for 10 mins. He Said that the P/T isn't that bad, I was so Happy to hear from him, He sounded good, hope all you Moms get ur letters and calls soon,
