Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 087 and 088.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Is this right I am a little confused on emails. Please advise

Hi There Everyone - Question.  Is there a place or link that lays out  the recruit's training schedule at boot camp?  I've seen  posts making mention of "nice to know what they are doing each day" and I haven't found it yet.  Still finding my way around the Navy4mom's web site.  Can anyone help?

Tammy, I am in the same boat...that might be a good question for the main group.  I thought someone posted a link, but I cant seem to find it.....

http://www.navydep.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433   I am not sure if this is what you are talking about.  I will be honest this is not the easiest websites to follow ot I am just so confused with so  much reading I am not understanding everything I am taking in.

Good afternoon! My son is Andrew; he's in Div 087. Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

HI!  I am Keith's mom Ship 04 DIV 087 I was not sure what name to use since they said not to post no real first or last names.  Learning as I am going.  We are very excited that our son has chosen a Navy career and following in the footsteps of so many family members.  So much is to learn and exciting for parents as well as I am sure for our Sailors!!!  I too am very anxious to hear from others if they have recieved a letter, I think my son will write BUT he is not really a writer and he told me he would write towards the end so I will have to hear from others, have to love our children LOL.  We have not made any plans yet, so many websites so they may or may not make it and to wait to closer to the end to make reservations?  I feel pretty confident he will make it.  Can't imagine him not.  Praying the wether allows for travel.  Where are you going for you Meet and Greet alot of people has suggested "Sarge"?  Any ideas?  I wish we could bring more than three people, alot family so proud of him,  Any information you share I will greatly appreciate it.  Thank YOU! Brenda "snowmanmom"

I booked my hotel yesterday. Can't wait to meet everyone. I will be the one crying probably....lol Looking at the temp change is funny. Really would like to know how Dalton is taking a liking to that? We are nothing but Carolina folks with warm weather.

Has anyone received any letters from their son?

I wonder if they will be given time off on Christmas Day to call home?

My son is going to "A" school in Pensacola,Fla after graduation. Is anyone elses Son going there?

Hoping to get a phone call, I have been a wreck this holiday season. I will try to compose myself as much as I can but I am afraid the sound of my son's voice (if he calls) will just send me into tears of joy. Christmas Blessings to all.  Can't wait to hear if anyone has contact :)

(Justins proud mom) My son is in the same divison 088 as yours. He left out of Columbus,Oh, did your son leave out of Cleveland?

I wonder if they friends? We are from southwest Ohio a small village (Lewisburg).

Is your son going to "A" school in Pensacola,Fla?

No he is going to San Antonio for A school. Yes, he left from Cleveland. We are from Amherst near Lake Erie, 30 miles West of Cleveland. I am sure they are getting to see the worst/best of each other lol.
