Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 804 and 805.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Hello all! I am not a mom, but my wife and I do have twin sons in BC right now. They got split up due to transportation out of MEPS. So one som is in Div 805 and the other is in 804. I am getting very excited about PIR. It will be nice to see everyone on 01 FEB 2013.
Many of our questions are answered because we have two sons in BC. If one calls then we expect a call from the other. We have learned that one is a writer and the other wrote but only twice. The form letter and the Christmas Day letter.
My son is in 804 and I am so excited about PIR ...where do you live ...we will be coming from Kentucky!
@ Rporter1023 ...... Florida

@ Cor ....... Both will go to Coranado as well. The PO in one division played a joke on the CPO of the other division. He made the boy switch. Then if directions were given to the group he followed direction, if by last name he followed direction, if he was addressed by first name he ignored direction because that was not him. CPO was very frustrated as I hear it. Later admitted it was a great prank. I hope the boys came out unscathed.
He called his girlfriend 2 Sundays ago...they talked for 30ish minutes so it left nothing for Mom...I am hopeful that I get the "I am a Sailor" call after Battlestations...and there is a possibility of a call Tomorrow!!!
I am in and I am getting so excited I got a letter today from my son....he is still loving it but ready for basic to be over and head to the next step!

Thanks for organizing us all katiegirl and txt rained:)  Sitting together will be great!  I am really getting so excited.  We got a list of things he wants us to bring.  Since we are driving, he said bring what we can and he will take what he is allowed to have.  We'll bring home whatever he can't have.

My wife and I will be at PIR and at Sarge's meet and greet. I have twin sons, one in 804 and one in 805. That are both contracted for SB. Please feel free to Friend request me if you are also attending PIR on 01 FEB 2013. I have enjoyed your friendship and advice so far!
805 got to call home today! They are doing so well they got to go to a place on base that has a KFC! Apparently the are eligible for the hall of fame they are doing so well. At any rate one of my SRs called while eating KFC. He also said that he believes that those SWCC bound have a few weeks of training at GL before they head to CA. So they should have a liberty on 2-1-13 to 2-3-13. They return to training on Monday.

HI all,  we got a call yesterday from our SR.  He said it was on an individual basis for 804.  They had to pass at least 2 out of 3 inspections with 100% to be allowed the phone call.  He said 804 still struggles, but are doing better.  He said after graduation about 40 of the guys will move somewhere else and the two divisions staying in GL will be combined.  He sounded so much stronger, grown-up, and independent!!! 11 more days, can't wait!!!  It will be great to meet some of you also.

Hi Katiegirl... We will be there and I can't wait to meet everyone.  Thank you for your hard work. :-)

Haven't been on here for awhile. We got a call on Saturday too. He sounded so good and mature. Happy to have the time to call and go buy candy. It's funny how excited he was for candy. He thought they would have Liberty after getting checked into there new housing. I am looking forward to seeing him and all the young men/women graduate from BC.

katiegirl thank you for organizing  us to meet at Sarge's. I am looking forward to meeting all of you.

We arrive in Chicago around 3:00 on Thursday.
