Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913 and 914
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I haven't received any letters from my daughter. I have sent letters, I write her on average everyday. In reading all the posts it seems her ship and division are talkers...lol...She did call Christmas day but, not much info was given as to what she has been doing. She was quite emotional while talking to my husband. He said he spent most the time calming her down. She was emotional, I believe, because she realized just how much she missed her family, and not due to regretting her decision. I don't know what to think but, I do know things seem to be going well for her.
Is he on ship 02 div 914.. and he got to call? thats awesome.. My daughter in law is in this div and we have not been so lucky..
I just got to talk to my SR for 34 minutes! She said she's doing very well, and she's taking care of the other girls. She also said she's gotten really close to an SR from San Diego, so if anyone has an SR from that area in 913, please send me a message, I'd like to get to know you!
No worries if she has no calling card because they can purchase them at the NEX there with their Recruit Cash Card, issued to them when they arrived at Bootcamp for supplies. Also, Jeanna's Mom, you can mail her a calling card ... just be sure to get one that has at least 250 minutes since the pay phone connection eats up alot of the minutes. Also, the other SRs are very good about lending their cards to those who don't have one yet, just so that their shipmates can make a quick call home. It is possible that she had an appt at the time the division called or "watch"and missed the division calls. Hoping that you hear from her soon !
