Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 089 and 090

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son told me today that he has a good friend in RTC.  I would like to connect with their parent on here if possible.  Their last name starts with a B.  If your recruit fits that description please PM me with their last name.  My son is in Ship 11 Div 090 and the PIR date is 2/7.

Do you think all the div are noisy? I heard from my son on Saturday too! He sounded good and he still has a cold. I told him Chicago was having record cold spells. He said,  "I know nothing about the weather".

Probably more are noisy than not. Im sure by the end of RTC all the divisions will have quieted down.

hi everyone... im looking for a spouse of a sr in div 090 who lives in Brooklyn NY and has a daughter... if thats u please private message me :0)  thanks

Hi everyone.... We all got so quiet all of a sudden :0)  How is everyone doing????

katze  did that sr leave the 11th or 12th???

Good afternoon everybody!  I hope everybody had a good weekend.

Hi everyone. Spoke to my son on Saturday, and he also complained about the SRs being noisy. He also said that their division was larger than the others so maybe its a little harder to get them to quiet down. He has wisdom teeth surgery this week so he will have to make up a couple days. He sounds really good though, makes me feel good to know he is good.

cjsmom how many wisdom teeth does your sr have and are they impacted? I know getting his wisdom teeth out will certainly quiet him down! My sr said he's learning to keep his mouth shut or he gets extra push-ups.

Echo3 - my SR said they are getting pretty good at push ups....lol

Cjs's mom:

I also spoke to my son, Alex on Sunday. Our SR's are in the same ship & division. There must be a lot of wisdom teeth being removed, as his are going to be as well!

Yes, their division has 102 or something like that, instead of 88. My son is one of the Mail Petty Officers & they only got their first mail call last Tuesday (12/31/13). He said they haven't gotten to mail any letters yet, not sure why, but he has 14 ready to mail.

It was amazing to talk to him, as we missed the call last week.

Are you going to PIR?

Our SR had his wisdom teeth removed mid November.  We're really glad we got them taken out now.  Our SR also said they were noisy and getting really good at push ups...lol.  he sounded great.  It relieved my mind just hearing him sound so positive.
