Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a letter from my SR.  It's getting better and he sounds much more upbeat than his last letter. They are down to 80 SR's and he's thinking a few more will still go, some of them just can't stop talking when they're not supposed to.  He said that their div will get 60 minutes to make phone calls on Thursday (tomorrow yay!!) That's 60 minutes total so it will be short calls, so get your questions ready for a speedy conversation.  Foods pretty good, he's Honor Guard and handles the rifle, he said it's tough but will get it down.  They have started doing more PT, he's grateful because he is "shrinking".   He ended his letter ORDERING me to get a smaller version of his Simba tattoo on my ankle.  Think I just might do that.  Hope you all get your letters and stay close to you phones tomorrow.

Lisah!!  I have heard about your SR from mine in his last letter.  He really likes that tattoo and your SR is taking the flack from the Chiefs with great stride.  Finally, we are matching each other up!

My SR said the same thing about the talking! Praying those SR's get it together! Would hate to hear about more having to leave :/  My son loves Rifle/Drill! He was on the team in NROTC in High School - they had a great team!  I used to love watching them - Soooooo looking forward to seeing all of our Sailor's looking so sharp on 2/8. It will be amazing!

I got a 5 minute phone call out of the blue today.  I believe we should all expect a 30 minute phone call tomorrow afternoon!  The timing of the call was almost divinely inspired... my cat I've had for 9 years, who has always been sick, had a massive stroke this morning and I had to put her down.  All I could think was how much I wanted to talk to my SR.  3 hours later, I got to do just that.  Kitty heaven is a real place <3

KYKathryn...I am so sorry for you loss. Thankful for divine intervention in the form of a phone call! Sending hugs your way!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

KYKathryn - I am in tears! Sorry for you having to put your kitty down :/  We went through that about 2 months ago with my husbands cat (she was 21 yrs old)...Crying because you got that call you so desperately needed!!! <3  Getting calls today would be amazing! I will have my phone GLUED to me! LOL

Trust me, waking up from my recovery nap to a 847 call was almost more than my brain could handle.

Aw sorry to hear about your cat, my cats are like members of my family!! I'm so glad you received your call. Just think next it will be the I'm a Sailor call!!!!

My SR sent his girlfriend a letter saying he would be calling this evening around 7pm? Hope he has time to call us also!

Playing the Waiting Game. I hate this game the most lol

I hear ya, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
