Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 091 and 092.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That's great news.  I am so glad to hear that.  I have not heard yet from my son, but will not hold my breath.  But I am relieved that inspection went well.  That's awesome news!!  I feel much better now.

That's wonderful news. Thanks for sharing. Maybe those, "misfits", finally got their acts together???

@LisaS and britefuture I sure hope so! I wish I could have spoke to him. I have so many questions. It's hard being a mom and having your children in close relationships. My son's girlfriend is a doll and contacts me after every communication she has from my son but I still wish I could have spoken to him.

Hi moms!  I wish there was some way for our soon to be Sailors to see us at PIR...maybe by wearing  the same color scarf or something to let Ship 03  Div 091 & 092 recognize where we are sitting, also would help us to identify one another.  Ideas??

I think that would be a great idea.....I wear a houndstooth one all the time with my black coat. I have a bright red scarf also, but I will get whatever color we agree on!

Just wanted to make sure you saw all5roc's reply...there will be signs there and each division will line up in front of their div number.

I bought an Amercan Fag scarf in the beginning of this, "roller coaster ride". Butt, I'm sure there will be a lot of those. We could be really crazy and wear Preakness style hats. JUST KIDDING

Hello Ladies!  I love the idea of us sitting together and wearing common colors shows unity for our Recruits.  Does anyone know what their flag looks like, what colors?  This would be a good start on choosing a color of scarf.  I will write my Son and ask if he can give me some info.  If anyone speaks to their recruit try and find out.

Love the idea

Please see info posted by all5roc.  Great to know. At least we can be in front of our sailors :)

DNmom, the sailors will see us and know where we are at during PIR because they line up in front of us. They have signs of where each div's family will sit. That way we can see them. I have daughter that PIR last year and she spotted us immediately!! She carried flag so was so much easier to see her-front & center!! So any flag carriers-be prepared for good photo shots!

Thanks all5roc!  Great to know.

From what I understood you had to get there early to get a good seat and that you could be sitting up top in the bleachers. If that happens I don't think you'll be seen. Someone posted a vidoe on the boot camp moms group and they were up top.
