For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 089 and 090.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Oh Joy!!! I got a letter from my daughter today. She is doing very well and making lots of friends. She gave me a list of ladies that I "just have to meet" during graduation. She says that her entire division passed their 1st test and they will be getting a Academic Flag. She says they keep failing there bunk inspections though, and "Inspections(Zone) sucks eggs", lol. She says that boot camp gets easier as long as they are doing stuff. I'm glad that are kids have each other to lean on and to push each other. 4 weeks left...

My daughter is also ship 12 Div 090. My daughter did not tell me about that Lol. Hopefully my daughter has learned to make her bed the right way:) Are we allowed to say there last names on here my last name is different than my daughter.

does anyone know how long their liberty will last after graduation? do they always fly out the following morning or do they stay until sunday? im trying to book my plane ticket but if i can have more time with my hubby i will do whatever i can. Also do we know if we can give cell phones or ipads to them at the airport on their way to a school? i cant take anymore time without his voice or facetime! any info will be great! 25 more days!!!!

Has anyone heard from their SR. Any letters or calls. Does anyone know when they do battle stations? Is there a specific day that they do them. I don't want to miss my SR call. Ship 12 div 089 can anyone help answer these questions. I know that we can't post the day but you can private message me. It would be appreciated. Thank you.
