We just received our form letter yesterday and it was SO GREAT to get word from our son.  He said he missed us...I was actually glad to hear that!  I was afraid he would be so busy that he wouldn't have time to miss us.  Anyway, let's share experiences here, and we can match names to faces at PIR!

Sat down and wrote my SR another letter today....and added the letter from her little brother. Still waiting by the phone. Hope she calls soon. Been reading up on some of the things she is doing and will do in the future. Battle stations looks interesting and very demanding. I am sure it will be a challenge. Something they can be proud of completing. Anyone staying the weekend for Graduation? We are planning on booking our hotel for thurs - sun. So far our SR is scheduled to stay at Great Lakes for A school.....so we are hoping that she gets weekend liberty and we can do Chicago with our Sailor!

I order the ribbon and scarf with lala with a anchor on it.  But I will check Target here in Chicago for my other two daughters to wear for her graduation.  Received a letter Tuesday night and I am able to send her glasses and contacts also hand cream this means only a few more weeks YAAAA.  I can't wait to see her, hearing her voice Friday night was just great, how long did everyone else get to talk.

I saw on a facebook something about a picture of the DIV 's could this be true?

Cool you will email when you ship out the ribbons and scarf.

: )

I sure will, I just put a note with your order so I won't forget :-)

Our SRs are in Hell Week now!  We just got a letter dated 1/16 that said it was starting "tomorrow" which was Tuesday.  Only three more weeks until we get to be with them!  I can't wait!  By the way, he sent me back the survey that I got from this site!  It works!  It was fun to read his responses!

Any one know about gate passes. to get into GL

You should have received the password from your SR in the form letter.  You will need this to print  your pass which is on the RTC website.  Here's the link.
