~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I have only received one call, after the "i'm here" and one letter? It's driving me crazy . My SR would say. Short drive mom :).
Thanks again everyone for all the information. I hadn't seen that Sarah's meet and greet was posted.
nextstep 02/915
I think we have recieved 3. She told us they mail goes out on Sunday from her and it is usually Thursday when it arrives here in NC. I heard the mail was having trouble because of the weather up there. We have sent a lot of letters and she has not recieved some of them. She is said she will call this weekend and maybe we can find out more about the mail. Hang in there only 21 more days.... :)
I have received one letter and he said in a phone call that he sent the second one... that was 12 days ago and I still haven't received it! The anticipation is killing me!
we have recieved almost a letter a week. Most time it arrives on Thursday, got one today..FYI
Just curious have any of you Navy Moms, Dads, wives, husbands, girlfriends or boyfriends of the SR's in this group been receiving mail on a weekly basis from your SR's?
Thanks. There was another link that had a whole list, but this will do. Thanks again :)

Good Morning!
"You hem me in--from behind and before,
You have Your Hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain."
Psalm 139::5-6
Froggy,
The shuttles drop you off at a gate behind graduation hall and you only have to walk 50 yards to the graduation hall entrance.
