I thought that this would be fun to see what our SRs say in either a letter or a phone call to us.

My son wrote:

Mom, the caviar here is bland and my gold toilet is a little cold but I think I will manage.

I laughed so hard!

So feel free to put down the things that made you smile, laugh or cry from your SR.

Have a great day!

Typical the guys blame the girls and the girls blame the guys. I guess not much has changed from when they were little! lol

haha -  I was thinking the same thing :)  Its different divisions also

Bearsmom - LOL - that was funny - you ladies always know when I need a laugh.   On my call my SR didn't say anything funny - OH but leave it up to her mama to come up with something.  She was telling me that she was RCPO - but its pronounced rpoc - so I say HUH - what?  Tupac - Oh I am sorry baby Tupac is dead.  She actually chuckeled a little bit.  I then asked sooo who's bitching is worse - me or the RDC's.  She said oh mom you are up there -  lLOL... At least after all her tears she was able to joke with me

My son said his RDC is always trying to break his military bearing but can't. Then he went on to say "my mama didn't raise no fool!"

He also said he eats salad with every meal, knowing full well what a great shock that would be as all his life he has hated veggies of all kinds!

Today, Athena (Jesse's dog) told me that she wanted to write to Jesse. So she wrote him this letter.

Then she put a paw print on the paper. Then she stepped on another piece of paper with her paws to make his picture. We mailed it out today!!!

My dog wrote the very same letter....HA,HA,HA,HA!

Not really...I WISH...I was not that creative...too great and you ladies need to add these to the forum that is on here:

Top Ten Lines Home from Boot Camp

I spent HOURS reading ALL of it when I coyuld not sleep when our son was in BC and Hubby was in Iraq...it is addicting. I even copied pages of it and sent to Hubby to get a good laugh!

Seriously...lots of members go to it!

He constantly reminds me that the food is GOOD! Then he went on to write me a page of the list of foods he has eaten there, half which are chinese (his favorite)..so now I can see why he loves it SOOO much!! Plus he said mealtimes was his favorite part of the day because it's the most relaxing..then comes sleeping of course!!

I NEVER get more than maybe half a page of writing. UGH!!! Tell Cruz to make him write more stuff!!!! His girlfriend gets more letters than his mom and sisters. Wait!!! He hasn't written his sisters!!! So I only get two and she gets..... many!

my sr is loving the food too,  back at thanksgiving they had Crab Alfredo....  HE'S IN HEAVEN

Besides the Having fun! haha that he snuck into his "box" written on the inside. The best line was from his first letter. I think it sums up his feelings so well. I am writing to you with my gov. issued pen, on my gov. issued paper, through my gov. issued glasses.
