Your Welcome!
The link for the site is on GLNS WMR - Great Lakes Naval Station, Morale, Welfare and Recreation site. So, they must have a connection with the MWR to get the design.
No, they won't post it but sometimes moms get the shirts (or the recruit has ordered them and it arrives) before PIR and do so.
They have a limited amount (I believe) for sale at the Recreation Center after PIR and you can also order them there after PIR.
The RTC Recreation Center is located right next to Ricky Heaven near the NEX on RTC.
Here is the link to the RTC Graduation Page on MWR:
http://www.mwrgl.com/gen_info/rtc_graduation/rtcgraduation.htm
I believe most bases have an MWR .
Should be a lot of performing going on at this PIR!
Ooops...forgot to post shirt link...it's down again?...sigh...thanks diannep! I'll have to find the other one that has the order form.
You are now officially (per RTC website):
TG 16 — 09 Divisions (075–080 & 914–916) Graduate Friday, March 2, 2012
THREE 900 divisions!
Thanks so much for sharing about the ribbons I make for everyone to wear to PIR. If anyone would like more info just send me a friend request on here and I will send you the info. You can also email me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com and you can look through the photos on my page here or on the link Jamie posted a couple pages back. I am happy to make them for anyone who wants them :-)
Division tshirt site is down right now (link below) but try it later. Hopefully it will be back up.
Meant to say: "Grad and Go" term, not "RTC term." Sorry!
Here's the link to order the division tshirts/sweatshirts(?) that FTLW mentioned below:
http://mwrgl.com/gen_info/rtc_graduation/div_tshirt_order_6_2010.pdf
Here is the phone number too: 972-347-6655
You can receive them before PIR so you can wear them there. Like FTLW said, you may want to check with your SR first to make sure that they weren't already ordered for you. Unless you want extras!
jackie: You are welcome! We N4Moms veterans have gone round and round on the RTC term now for well over a year. RTC wants the term gone, yet the SRs are still given that term. Used to be that some sailors were held until the next week before going to their A Schools, but we have been told that they don't do that anymore and the sailors are shipped off of RTC by the end of the weekend. Sometimes if the Sat. flights are full, they will fly out on Sunday.
To find out about the basics for Friday and Saturday Departures please read the Family Guide by RTC and the "After PIR Friday and Saturday Departures" discussions...I'll bump them up up above!
But always feel free to ask your questions about them!
The Divisions design their personal flags...they then can purchase one for themselves...some also have purchased them for their whole family. So, I would check with your recruit about this first. I will post the link for ordering the Division shirts...but please check with your recruit first. ;-)
