Good morning, all.
FTLW: Still praying that your pup finds her way home...keeping the faith!
I have some catch up reading to do!
Folks,
Thank you all so much…your kind supportive words mean a lot!
I am sorry for the “just a dog” comment…did not mean it in a frivolous way. Ours are definitely family. We have Border Collies…and have competed with our old boys (almost 12 and 13) in Sheepherding trials. A ranch in a farm loving rural State is the retirement goal. One thing at least…I got you to share some wonderful stories about your beloved furry Family Members!
Still no little dog. She does have a collar on with a tag…but she does not go to strangers well. Like I said “she has issues”…we have spent $$$ and much time but there are some things that no amount of sheep have fixed. Basically…she gets “lost” when she steps one foot off of our property. (sigh)
Thank you all again.
Thank you all so much! I guess it is not meant for me to stop following the group! lol I tried but it still followed it. It was meant for me to see all your wonderful comments and support:) I got to talk to Chris tonight and he is doing really good considering what is taking place. He has a positive attitude and is being a very responsible young man! It is amazing what just a couple of months will do to them! I am so proud of him. It helps so much getting to talk to him! It lifts my spirits up!:) I know that no matter what happens, he is going to do well in whatever he does and I do know that being at Boot Camp is what has helped him to be the man he is and it was good for him to be there! I will keep you all posted on his appeal. I have a peace in my heart and know that he will be okay. I still have my melt downs here and there but in the end I know God is in control and as my sweet friend "MSsailor's" words, "God's got this"!:) Love you all so much and know that I couldn't have made it without all of your support. I agree with those about the veteran moms on here, y'all are wonderful and have been such a great help! God bless you all!:)
lesliet hang in there, we are all thinking of you!
barbsz: He should be able to return to GL A School base on Friday night with his cell phone. Then he can call you on Sat morning and let you know when he can be picked up. He may even know this on Friday night.
You are welcome Jamie, I am sure she will get it on time :)
Sarah, thanks so much I am so glad you like them :-)
Leslie I wish I could be there right now to give you a huge hug. I guess the only thing you can do is to try and think that the letter is old news and he is on an even bigger journey now and he has come so far and is strong and ready to fight for what he wants. He will show them how much he wants to be a Sailor and they will be fortunate to have him in their fleet. Concentrate on the phone call and how encouraged he was. He can do this and you can do this. Hopefully it won't take long and you will be celebrating with bells on and so will all of us. I will keep you both in my prayers <3
question, since my bf is staying at Great Lakes for school and I'm first going to meet him on Saturday for liberty because I'm avoiding the family on Friday, does anyone know what time they get released for liberty on Saturday??
FTLW, I really hope you find her!! Praying for you and for Lesliet!! <3
