bananamama...it is COLD!  I read somewhere that for our PIR it is projected to be in the 40s.  Although that is still 2 weeks away and we are still below 0 degrees.  Here's to hoping for 40s!!!

Catmom-Thank you so much for posting the scripture from Isaiah. I included it in my letter tonight. It is so comforting to know and trust that God is with us and our SRs at all times. I know that my son will greatly appreciate this particular verse.

Today is usually my letter day, but I did not gets my hopes up for the reasons stated. And, just as I thought-no letter for me today:(

Good Morning!  Yep, they should be into Training Week 5 now, some getting ready to start Training Week 6, their last one before their final test, BattleStations.  Be sure to read the BattleStations discussion above for more info on their final test!  Some divisions will be having BattleStations late next week, the rest during PIR week.

This scripture is so appropriate for the Battlestations that your SRs will be going through soon.  Perhaps you can share with your SR in a letter now.

     "Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
