crit2015,

Sounds like your SR might be one of those blessed ones that get to have the whole weekend (no overnights though) with your family!!

Good Morning!! Ive been updated that my SR will not be going to TX for A School. Instead he will be staying in GL for 60 days- than CA for 94. (Which extended A School from 3 to 5 months) Not sure why this has changed... waiting to hear from him. I'm wondering if he'll get extended liberty after PIR- since he is not scheduled to fly out. Fingers crossed. Missing him like crazy!!

So, my son told me in his letter that there were a bunch of guys in his division that got that nasty stomach bug. There was talk of them even being quarantined, but that didn't happen-Thank goodness! As of Sunday (2.8) he had not gotten it and it seemed to be cooling down a bit. I hope and pray that he did not get sick this past week during Hell Week. Hoping everyone else is well at this point.

Three more weeks!!! Yippee!!!!!!

Thanks for all the responses ladies.  We like to help all of you and wonder if you all ran off somewhere!!

The Facebook page is "U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command" where they post numerous random pictures AND each PIR graduation is posted too!!  So after your own PIR, go there to download all the pics you see of your Sailor and his/her division.  Great for the scrapbook!
