FTLW, It was OC spray, the last part of the Security Reaction Force - Basic (SRF-B) Class, a training class that is voluntary. Nope, not for me. LOL

Hello All!

"Similarly, encourage the young men to be

self-controlled.  In everything, set them an example

by doing what is good.  In your teaching show integrity,

seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot

be condemned, so that those who oppose you may

be ashamed because they have nothing bad to

      say about us."

My recruit arrived at RTC on 1/9. I finally got his form letter yesterday!! No box yet, but I think it might be at the post office.

HOOYAH, ellen, on his staunch stance as he is pepper sprayed!  I have loved getting to know your sailor by the back of his head, an ear, a nose, piks you have posted of these features since you have been on here!  HA!

Good Morning All!

Welcome to any new members!

This is what I do when things don't work... Frustrated user.

Oh man ...is that pepper spray?

Look at his military bearing...kudos to your son ellen!

A little slow on introducing myself to this group. Real life gets in the way of the fun life sometimes. :)

My son graduated BC in April of 2012. He is an ET3, or an Electronics Technician, Petty Officer Third Class, but also had schooling in IT (somebody has to do it when the ITs can't figure it out. Sorry CatMom LOL). He is currently forward-deployed.

He stayed in GL for A School, went to C School in San Diego, has been back to San Diego for training on additional equipment since C School.

The ship he is attached to is a Whidbey Island-class landing ship, part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), Squadron 11.

This is my son. :)

Memorize your Sailors ears, hands, chin, nose, and the back of their head, they may be the only thing you catch sight of when they are out in the fleet.
