Hello Friends!

     "He gives strength to the weary and

      increases the power of the weak.

      Even youths grow tired and weary,

      and the young stumble and fall;

      But those who hope in the Lord

      will renew their strength.

      They will soar on wings like eagles;

      they will run and not grow weary,

      they will walk and not be faint."

                                   Isaiah 40:29-31

Is 917 going tonight?

Good Morning!

BattleStations for this group continue starting tonight!

Vicky,

Depending on his rate, it will be SR Last Name (Seaman Recruit), SA Last Name (Seaman Apprentice), or SN Last Name (Seaman).  Many ratings (job specialties) also include additional letters in combo with the above, but those I have listed are generally what most Sailors are know by right after Boot Camp.

Great idea! After graduation will his official Navy name be "Sailor Last Name"?

I am getting my son a nice watch for graduation. Does anyone have any ideas of a message to have engraved on the back?
Comment by diannep on March 1, 2015 at 8:42am

Good Morning!  In just a couple of days, all in this PIR group should have sailors!  Prayers for those finishing their BattleStations this week!
