Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 916 and 917.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning everyone!  My son mentioned he has met a buddy in his DIV from the area up there.  He suggested we all have a meal together after PIR.  Are their any SR families on here from IL area in 916?

Nice to meet you navymom!  We are coming in from AZ but hopefully we will be able to meet you and your SR.  Will you be going to one of the meet and greets?

We will attend Sarge's Meet and Greet.  We have book a family suite at the Navy Lodge.  I have heard it is older but it has plenty of room for us and was a lot cheaper than the chain hotels.  :)  Excited to meet everyone!

We are staying at the Ramada.  It has its own meet and greet so I don't know if I will make it to Sarge's.  I am not renting a car, so I have to rely on shuttles and/or cabs.  I am not worried though, I am going to see my son and all the other stuff with fall into place.

Hi everyone, guess I am the first of the Div 917 to chime in...looking forward to watching the next 38 days fly by

My daughter is 917 too! These next 37 days cannot go by fast enough...

:)  Great to see another 917 in the house !!!

My daughter is also 917. time really doesn't fly. I've received two letters from her and two phone calls, one last saturday (1 hr) and the other, which I really didn't expect, yesterday at about 6 o'clock for 15 mts. Great, i feel so happy, her voice sounded so well. I feel much relaxed now.

awww...but we are way further then we were!!!  Hang in there...tomorrow we can start to say we only have 29 days left!!!  I am sure your so happy to have the phone calls and letters, it is so much more then some get.  We are all in this together!!!

Anybody in 917 get a call yet or a letter today?  Hoping for a letter by the end of the week.
