Anyone with division 081? Okay, I took a chance and booked flights before I got my letter, $117 Boston to Chicago roundtrip. Finalizing staying at Keylime Cove $113/night. We will have both the PIR and a birthday to celebrate that weekend!

Normita,

We are trying to learn the color of the division flag. Each division creates a flag of their own. Do you know the color of the flag for our sons' division? We would wear a scarf of the same color to identify our group. We can wear them at the Meet and Greet the night before, and at the graduation.

Did you get more mail today from your son? I am so happy we have more contact now.

Well ladies, it's Thursday. I did get letters, but none of them told me the color of the division flag. I know 083 is doing yellow with navy applique. What color or colors would we all like our scarves to be?

We will be at sarges meet and greet also, so whatever yall are doing, ill be sure to meet up!

FYI Victoria's Secret has Navy clothing out here because of the sub-base. Their Navy apparel is Royal blue, white and hot, metallic pink, lol.

Normita,

I don't know where my son is going after bc. He was going to stay at Great Lakes, but we are waiting to hear if he was accepted into Ceremonial Honor Guard. If he is accepted, he will go to Washington D.C. You must be so happy your son will be going to Pensocacola. He will be the same state you live. I hope my son will go to Washington D.C. for 2 years. I hope to get some ideas for a color. Do you prefer a color?

He is going for it?! If he gets it and so does mine, then I guess they will be together again! Lol that's so funny. In a way I want him to, but then another basic is going to be hard! Lol

Oh yes he is, "chomping at the bit" waiting for the answer, that was Sunday. I hope he concentrated for "hell week" and forgot about it for a little while. There is a group that I joined, that gave me some good answers, but I will have to see if things have changed. The mom providing the info started this almost 2 years ago.

Yea mine is too lol I did have one question, for the "basic training" is it the same as where they are now? I mean like is it the same as to no communication and only letters? That's my only concern....lol

Normita,

That was more difficult. I know I didn't understand all of it, but most of it. I will not get to see my son until he finishes training in Washington D.C. Training is 6-9 weeks, but I will see him at graduation and he will be close to home.
