OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Great Pics Missy!

I'll be leaving your group now. Blessings to you and your Sailors!

I was wondering that myself.  If you remember, sarge was on the stage and asked me how long it was since I graduated from GL. and I proudly said 42 years.  But I am a smoker and went out occasionally with a couple of the dads I met. You must have seen me there.  The yellow scarves were genious.

My son's name is Philip, Mine is Phillip, so we call him PJ....It would probly embarrass him if anyone in his division called him that.  Strange, when he flew out of O'Hare at 11:30, I didn't see any other sailors on his flight.

what is your sons name....and how did you stay under the radar and me not get you in one of the pictures from the meet n greet mister.....

Hi Missy....So he is in Hogwarts !  PJ is a MM and will have classes on the first floor while EMs and ETs have classes on the second floor so the MMs call second floor Hogwarts,  He also has a roommate there 2 1/2 months and has another week of indoc.
