So the form letter FINALLY came today and now we know that our loved ones have a PIR date of 3/16. Anyone else out there? I need to start looking at hotels and plane tickets. I was trying to hold off until we had the actual date.

Welcome aboard! I haven't seen any Arizona shout outs yet from this group. You might also try the other groups that are graduating on 3/16. I am sure there must be some Arizona folks among such a huge PIR group.

Someone asked about AZ...I'm in Colorado.

Yea i'm in Az, where at in Colorado? I haue another son in the Army stationed at Ft. Carson. Will also be attending the gathering at Flannagans. Are we going to be wearing something special for our group?

Another letter today. Yeah. Some funny comments about flirting with the chow line people to get an extra waffle. It is nice to know that he is acclimating so well. And he also used the big envelope I sent him so he could send some letters home for storage.

When he wrote it, he said that he only has ten days of official training left. Hard to believe. It went by so fast. I hope they all do well on their final battle stations exercise. Have ya'll watched that Navy Bootcamp series on YouTube? It is very interesting. And informative. I managed to get another card made and addressed this afternoon. I will try to get another letter sent too.

Only a couple more weeks, ladies! We will be watching them walk across that parade room soon!!! YEAH!

That is amazing. I can't believe that time has started to fly by so quickly. There might actually be life after boot camp. :) I can't wait.

It is finally that time, fellow Ship 03 moms! Graduation week!!! It is hard to believe the time flew by so quickly. My husband got a call from our SR today to confirm all of the details. We are flying up early (way too early according to my other kids) on Wednesday morning. I have printed out the hotel, car, and flight confirmations. I have printed out the driving directions and printed out the all-important car permit to get on base. And I have tentatively accepted the invite to Sarge's Meet and Greet on Thursday evening. So what am I forgetting?!

I look forward to seeing all of you there.

Gooooooood Morning!!!

I hope y'all received your 'I'm a SAILOR" call. See yah Friday.
