Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Good Morning!
I was glad I said "everyone" and not just "gals." Those precious GUYS we have in our groups are unfortunately, few and far between!
CTI Hubby, does your SR wife like to have her eyebrows done? I have a recommended salon up on my "Pertinent PIR Tips" up in the Discussion Forum, along with other PIR tips!
Too funny, CTI Hubby. We haven't forgotten about you! :-)
Hello Friends!
"He gives strength to the weary and
increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and the young stumble and fall;
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:29-31
18 days left ladies!!! So excited!!
Good Morning....again! Hope all have a good day.
Good Morning! This group will be in training week 5 this week.....at the end of training week 6 is BattleStations, which is their final test before becoming sailors!
Here is a hint for those driving to PIR rather than taking a shuttle:
Stay to the left on Buckley (main drag to RTC)....the car line for RTC will be on your right. Bypass RTC and turn around at the train station right past it....head back o RTC from the opposite direction....easy left turn onto RTC, no wait! Remember gates open at 6:30 and you will want to be there early to choose your seat in your division section.
For those planning to attend Sarge's MeetandGreet the night before PIR, please find the link in the EVENTS section, to the left of this page at the bottom. You can RSVP there ... you can put the number in your group in the comments section so he knows how to plan for the food (a free dinner for you all!).
Good Morning!
"I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancent times, what is still to come.
I say: 'My purpose will stand, and I do all that I please.' "
Isaiah 45:10
